General experience
Over 12 years of product, UX, and UI experience
Niche in e-commerce, B2C and enterprise environments
Running workshops, design systems and being a team cheerleader are my jam
Design Systems
Led the launch of Kraft Heinz’s first enterprise design system, reducing dev time by 80% and design time by 40%
Built collaboratively using Fluent as a foundation
Used by devs across the world building in Power BI, Tableau, Power Apps, React, and Angular
Being a mentor
Spent the past decade mentoring designers, researchers, engineers and product
I've hired and directly managed designers
I support people in their growth in UX, UI, research, and design systems
I'm a big fan of building people up no matter where they're starting
Code
I’m not a full-stack dev but can read and write basic code
I do my best to be a thoughtful design parter that engineers actually enjoy working with 😅
Why
Kraft Heinz did an update to their RTO policy earlier this year. While the team and I both wanted me to stay in my role, it wasn't the best move financially.
I want to find a design team where there's good humans who are ready to get down and create some powerful work.
What I'm up to
Since then, I've been working part time at 2 companies:
🧐 Maze (#1 research platform)
Dedicated Research Partner for their new AI moderator
(yup, you read that right, I care just as much about research as I do design)
👩🏻💻 Primitive (marketing agency)
UX Lead where I'm helping to define their team design processes and leading UX with an e-commerce company
On the side, I'm cooking up a new video series with my 5 year old kiddo (TBD if that actually pans out 😅, kids, amirite?)
Let's make something magical together ✨
